The new commercial structure will see Mr Faulks become joint managing director alongside Mark Thompson and Stephen Scifleet joined by Frank Giorgi and Steven Shang, who have also taken on ownership roles.
Mr Faulks said, “This merger was brought on by our desire to introduce a commercial arm to Canberra, to complement the ambitions of our growing Ray White Commercial network around the country.”
“We quickly realised that our teams have an alignment of values the new team come from a 20 year old family business that believes in integrity and the very best customer service, and the Ray White Group has shared those similar values for 120 years,” he said.
“All of our leaders in Ray White Commercial Canberra have an alliance in the way we see the world, and believe in a collaborative culture of teamwork.”
The Ray White Commercial network across Australia and New Zealand have held their stead as market leaders and big players in all major cities. The introduction of a commercial division in Canberra is a huge step for the family-owned company.
The new leaders were attracted to the technology offering and the premium, recognisable brand of Ray White Commercial.
“The commercial market in Canberra is incredibly buoyant at the moment and we believe that our group can extend the typical level of service in the region,” Mr Faulks said.
“We are seeing multiple tenants competing for vacant properties in a way that hasn't happened for many years, across pretty much all asset classes.”
Mr Faulks said the new team already had a reputation in the industry for building long-term relationships with clients, and partnering with them, rather than focus on transactions.
“Many of these commercial agents have been operating in the region for 30 years, have a great client base and strong relationships. We hope to supplement this even further with our residential branch,” Mr Faulks said.
The merger will bring the combined Ray White team to over 100 real estate professionals driven by the same relentless pursuit to be the best place on the planet to build a career in real estate.
Ray White Commercial Head of Agency Operations Andrew Freeman said he was thrilled to welcome the Ray White Commercial Canberra team to the family.
“We are incredibly proud to welcome the entire Ray White Commercial Canberra team into our family, and thrilled for this next step for Ben,” Mr Freeman said.
‘The depth of knowledge and experience in this team will undoubtedly bring a lot of success to them and their clients.”
