With more than 15 years of experience in the commercial property management industry, David Peterson has taken the next step in his real estate journey as the new head of RWC Asset Management (QLD).
David is joined by executive assistant Jenna Gustafson.
David started his career working in the property management team at the Brisbane Markets, and has gained a range of experience since then. He joined RWC in 2022.
“At the time, Brisbane Markets was a 77ha site comprising over 35 buildings with 250 leases across multiple asset types for which I provided lease administration, transaction management and stakeholder relationship management,” he said.
“Since then I spent two years working for another corporate brand as a national property manager, servicing key brands such as Suncorp Bank, APIA, AAMI, GIO, Vero and Shannons to name a few.
“Then I spent seven years working for another brand as a senior property manager before becoming a non-equity partner and helping to grow the brand to have $1.3 billion of assets under management.”
David is passionate about property management and enjoys working closely with his clients to help provide them with the best outcomes for their assets.
“I love helping clients in their moment of need and getting them the best value out of their assets,” he said.
“When they come to me with a sticky situation, I really enjoy assessing the matter at hand and working through all the possible scenarios to ultimately deliver on an agreed strategy that sees the owner exit in a great position.”
Growth is a major goal for the business over the next 12 months.
“Our goal is to continue the growth of our portfolio while also investing in systems to streamline the consistency of our service delivery,” David said.
“We want to be known for our transparent and relationship based property management services where clients can expect exceptional service and communication.”
RWC head James Linacre congratulated David on his new role.
“David has been an integral part of the growth of RWC’s property management business in Queensland, and was the perfect fit for the role as Head of Asset Management at RWC Asset Management (QLD),” he said.
“I look forward to supporting everything David and Jenna achieve over the next 12 months and into the future.”
