The highly anticipated neighbourhood shopping centre Ramlegh Springs Village has now received permit approval, with Colliers expert Daniel Paul managing the retail leasing campaign.
The highly anticipated neighbourhood shopping centre, Ramlegh Springs Village, has now received permit approval with key tenants Woolworths and ALDI, already having committed to space within the future centre.
Developed by APD Projects, Ramlegh Springs Village is set to become a lively meeting place providing brand-new amenities for their recently developed 700-lot Ramlegh Springs community, situated within the rapidly growing Melbourne pocket Clyde North.
Colliers are exclusively managing the retail leasing campaign for the future 9,050sqm NLA neighbourhood shopping centre, which, apart from a full-line Woolworths and ALDI supermarket, will comprise 23 speciality retailers.
Colliers Associate Director of Retail Leasing, Daniel Paul, said, “There has been overwhelming interest in Ramlegh Springs Village with 94% of the space already pre-committed. Demand for retail spaces within new neighbourhood shopping centres in high-growth areas have continued to increase post-COVID and snapped up years before completion.”
“Neighbourhood shopping centres continue to perform strongly, driven by the growth in consumer spending on non-discretionary items such as groceries, liquor and fresh food, which are considered essential spending and remain on a rising trajectory,” Mr Paul added.
Ramlegh Springs Village is strategically located in a rapidly growing municipality in Victoria, approximately 46 kilometres southeast of Melbourne CBD in Clyde North, positioned between Tuckers Road, Ramlegh Boulevard and New MacDonalds Farm Park.
Ramlegh Springs Village is set to provide a population that the State Government forecasts will grow by 30 per cent by 2041 from the 12,755 people currently residing in Clyde North.
Designed by award-winning architects i2C Architects, Ramlegh Springs Village, will serve as a reimagined village square that, apart from anchor tenants Woolworths and ALDI, will house a variety of retail and commercial experiences, including cafes, beauty services, medical consulting, and a fitness centre.
APD Projects’ Director Brad Paddon said the future neighbourhood shopping centre will offer the surrounding Ramlegh Springs community with an extensive selection of brand-new retail services and amenities close to home.
“We are excited to be delivering a brand-new retail experience to our first master planned community, and with permits now approved for Ramlegh Springs Village shopping centre, we anticipate construction to commence in Q3 2024 and be open for trading early 2026,” Mr Paddon concluded.
Across the city, APD Projects are also developing The Base Craigieburn, with precinct 1 now open and the first large format retail release comprising over 10,000sqm of lettable area already 95% committed, resulting in a further 20,000sqm of lettable area now on market ahead of program.
