CBRE has appointed Laura Pratt as the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Ms Pratt has extensive experience shaping high performing organisations and creating diverse and inclusive cultures within the government and aviation industries, including her most recent role as the Inclusion and Diversity Portfolio Lead for Qantas.

Laura brings a wealth of knowledge from her diversity and inclusion roles at Qantas and will help drive our DE&I programs, which are central to our strategy to attract, develop and retain top industry talent.”
CBRE’s focus in this area was recently recognised with a finalist nomination in the Workplace Diversity and Culture category of the Australian’s Property Institute’s 2021 Excellence in Property Awards, which are being announced on October 28.
CBRE is also an active member of the Property Champions of Change, which was established in 2015 to help drive greater gender equality in the Australian property industry and increase the number of women in leadership roles.
Mr Rowland will next week be joining join GPT’s Bob Johnston, Charter Hall’s Carmel Hourigan and Property Council of Australia COO Jane Fitzgerald as a PCC panelist to discuss how COVID has helped and hampered the mission to advance gender equality and address issues like everyday sexism.
