One of Canberra’s leading commercial agents, Dan McGrath, has joined Ray White Commercial Canberra as the new Head of Agency.
Continuing on the tradition of industry leadership and deep expertise established by Mark Thompson, Mr McGrath will work closely with Ray White Commercial Canberra Chairman Ben Faulks, and lead the high performing sales and leasing team which is made up of industry experts across the retail, industrial, office and service trade sectors.
After 21 years working for a major corporate agency, Mr McGrath was drawn to the culture of the Ray White business, specifically its commitment to customer first and the foundation of teamwork.
“I leave my previous employer with some lifelong friendships and a huge amount of gratitude for the opportunity that they provided to me, however, I’m ready for my next challenge and to be able to focus more time on looking after my clients” Mr McGrath said.
His appointment to a leadership role is part of the regeneration of the leadership team at Ray White Commercial Canberra, a project that has been underway for nearly two years following the merger with Scithom Realty in 2021.
The leadership team is composed of Industrial heavyweight Frank Giorgi, Head of Property Management and Licensee in Charge Eleni Notaras, and General Manager Kim Quade. The expanded group has deep expertise in property, with nearly 100 years of combined industry experience.
Ms Notaras joined the team 12 months ago and her experience running her own agency has contributed significantly to the growth of the Property Management business, whereas Ms Quade has held senior roles in strata management, accounting and legal firms.
“Having someone of Dan’s experience join the business is a huge vote of confidence in our culture and the relationships our business continues to build with the Canberra community” said Mr Faulks.
“Dan rounds out our sales and leasing team’s breadth of service, with his background in institutional sales, project leasing and working with the ACT Government. We couldn’t be more excited to have Dan as part of the team.”
The Ray White Commercial Canberra team has also recently relocated to new premises on Lonsdale Street in Braddon, marking a new chapter for the team.
“This is a relationship business and we never take the trust placed in us by our clients for granted.
“Kim and Dan will help us build on this commitment as we continue to expand the Ray White Group in the ACT and surrounding areas”.
Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White welcomed Mr McGrath to the team, and congratulated the Ray White Commercial Canberra team on the continued growth and success of their business.
“Dan’s commitment to joining us is a very significant next step not only for Commercial Canberra but for our entire group. We are honored by his decision, and excited by the value he brings to our customers,” Mr White said.
