CBRE has appointed Mark Curtain to lead its Pacific Advisory & Transaction Services business.
The appointment follows Matt Haddon’s decision to step down from full-time work following some recent health challenges, after an exceptional property career spanning more than 40 years - 28 of those at CBRE.
Phil Rowland, CBRE’s Advisory Services CEO, Australia & New Zealand, said Mr Curtain had been the stand-out successor given his exceptional client relationships and industry experience.
“Mark’s career spans 30 years in the industry, including the last eight years at CBRE where he has led our Pacific Office Leasing team,” Mr Rowland said.
“Mark’s knowledge and leadership experience will ensure the ongoing success of our Advisory & Transaction Services business, which is the market leader in assisting clients with their leasing, tenant representation, workplace strategy, transaction management and development and infrastructure needs.
“He will also continue to remain very active with our clients, including transacting major office leasing deals, while guiding the next phase of growth for our broader Advisory & Transaction Services business.”
Mr Rowland said the appointment highlighted the depth of talent within CBRE and the opportunities for our people to progress their careers at CBRE.
“I’d also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Matt Haddon on a stellar career and to thank him for his extraordinary contributions to CBRE,” Mr Rowland said.
