Huge demand for office space in Brisbane resulted in $1,620,000 in transactions over two strata office sales at the iconic Solace Financial House, negotiated by Colliers Investment Services experts Tony Wang and Shaun Seeto.
Huge demand for office space in Brisbane has resulted in $1,620,000 in transactions over two strata office sales at the iconic Solace Financial House, as local businesses move quickly to secure prime office locations.
In a deal transacted by Colliers Investment Services experts Tony Wang and Shaun Seeto, the two tenancies at Level 11, 97 Creek Street, in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, were acquired by owner-occupiers growing their presence in the thriving CBD market.
Lot 22 of Level 11, consisting of 160 sqm, transacted for $800,000 to Cavalry Consulting, a management and technology consulting firm, which has now made Solace Financial House its new home.
Lot 23 of Level 11, consisting of 170sqm overlooking Creek Street, formerly owned by a major education operator with a strong presence in the building transacted for $820,000 to a local fit-out company who have relocated from George Street, marking another smooth transition into Solace Financial House.
Colliers Queensland Asia Markets Director Tony Wang said the asset was located in Brisbane’s most sought after precinct and there was a lot of interest from a range of buyers.
"These transactions highlight the continued demand for high-quality office space in Brisbane’s CBD," Tony Wang said.
“Brisbane vacancy rates are at their lowest in 12 years, which has been driven by some of the highest net absorption rates in the country particularly in recent years.
“With demand for office space in Brisbane at an all time high, there was a lot of interest in this space.
"Solace Financial House offers a prestigious business address within the ‘Golden Triangle’ and provides excellent connectivity, making it a prime choice for owner-occupiers."
Colliers Queensland Investment Services Senior Executive Shaun Seeto said both of the purchasers were drawn to the premium location of 97 Creek Street, benefiting from its proximity to Central Train Station, Queen Street Mall, and key transport links.
“The purchasers were attracted to this prime position where the building enjoys high foot traffic and access to exceptional retail and public transport amenities,” Shaun Seeto said.
“Colliers is pleased to have facilitated these seamless transitions and welcomes the new occupants to Solace Financial House.”
