The Fitzroy head office of Australian Greens leader Adam Bandt has been listed for sale by CBRE’s Nathan Mufale, Alex Brierley, Scott Hawthorne, and JJ Heng amid strong buyer interest in government leased assets.

Located on the ground floor of 142 Johnston Street, just near Brunswick Street, the office is leased to the Commonwealth of Australia on a new five-year lease, delivering an annual rent of $165,000 per annum.

CBRE’s Nathan Mufale, Alex Brierley, Scott Hawthorne, and JJ Heng are managing the sale on behalf of a private syndicate, with pricing expectations above $3,000,000.

He was elected to a fourth term in 2019 and holds the seat of Melbourne by the third largest margin of any Australian MP, receiving 72% of votes after preferences.
