CBRE has appointed experienced property professional Chris Butters as Managing Director of its Brisbane business.
CBRE's Brisbane branch is set to welcome a new Managing Director, with Chris Butters to take the reigns from Flint Davidson.
The appointment allows Mr Davidson to focus on his leadership responsibilities as CBRE’s National Head of Capital Markets – Office – a dual role he has held for the past 12 months.
Mr Butters has been an integral part of CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services – Office Leasing team over the past seven years, building the firm’s current market-leading position in that time.
He will retain his current role as Queensland State Director of Advisory & Transaction Services – Office Leasing, with expanded responsibilities as Managing Director of the firm’s Brisbane business.
CBRE Senior Managing Director, Queensland, Bruce Baker said CBRE’s ongoing focus on leadership and collaboration had been key drivers behind the appointment of Mr Butters to the Brisbane Managing Director role.
“Chris is not only an exceptional property professional in his own right, but also one of our strongest business line leaders who instils the values, processes and rigour essential to building and managing successful teams,” Mr Baker said.
“He is well-known and respected within the Brisbane market, holding strong client relationships with both private and institutional investors and occupiers. We are excited that Chris will have the opportunity to extend his strong leadership across the broader Brisbane business.”
