In a recruitment coup, highly regarded property professional Tim Courtnall is returning to CBRE to lead the firm’s NSW office leasing business.
Starting in January 2021, Mr Courtnall will assume the role of State Director, Advisory & Transaction Services - Investor Leasing (NSW). He brings more than 15 years of industry experience.
CBRE’s NSW Executive Managing Director Andrew Roy noted; “Tim will be responsible for driving high performance, best practice, collaboration and connectivity across CBRE’s NSW office leasing teams. He is a highly regarded for his strategic thinking and proven leadership capabilities, which will help drive our ability to deliver great client outcomes.”
Mr Courtnall commenced his career as a tenant representative before transferring his knowledge and skill set to office leasing, where he has been involved in campaigns for landmark Sydney assets such as The MLC Centre, Gateway, 20 Martin Place, Darling Park and 2 Market Street.
CBRE’s Pacific Head of Office Leasing Mark Curtain said the appointment completed the final stage of CBRE’s leadership recruitment plan for its Pacific office leasing business, following the appointments of Ash Buller and Stuart Colquhoun in Melbourne alongside Andrew Carlton and Campbell Tait in Brisbane.
“We have invested considerable time and resources ensuring we have true market leaders in every geography across the Pacific,” Mr Curtain said.
“Tim was our first pick to lead the NSW team and we’re now strongly positioned to help our clients navigate current and future market challenges across both Australia and New Zealand.”
