CBRE has strengthened its national Retail Investments business with the appointment of a new Victorian state leader, Jaycen Willox.
Mr Willox is rejoining CBRE after a 15-year hiatus following senior roles at Coles, SCentre Group and most recently APH Holdings.
CBRE’s Executive Managing Director, Victoria, Dean Hunt, said the appointment aligned with CBRE’s focus on attracting top talent to drive market leading client outcomes.
“There was a clear rebound in the retail investment sector in 2021, with record transaction volumes and a series of landmark assets sold,” Mr Hunt said.
“There has seen significant yield compression across all retail asset types over the past 12 months, with this momentum continuing into 2022, underpinned by elevated investor demand for retail investment opportunities.
“Jaycen is an outstanding collaborator, and his appointment will ensure we’re providing the optimum support for our clients in this evolving market environment, working in tandem with our Metropolitan Investments, Retail Leasing, Property Management and Valuations & Advisory Services teams.”
