Savills Melbourne has put a renewed emphasis on its retail investment division, appointing Rick Silberman as director.
Savills welcomed more than 10 years of industry experience to its Victorian ranks this month with the appointment of Rick Silberman as Retail Investments Director.
Based in Melbourne, Mr Silberman be specialising in the sale of shopping centres, standalone supermarket investments and large format retail assets throughout Victoria.
He joins Savills from Burgess Rawson, where he oversaw retail investment sales.
Prior to that, he was at boutique firm Melbourne Acquisitions.
Mr Silberman said his new role would allow him to serve all his friends and clients with high-quality retail investment services.
“Melbourne and greater Victoria remain highly active locations in Australia for quality retail assets,” he said.
“I am looking forwarding to leading the Victorian team and supporting our clients to take advantage of the amazing retail opportunities to come.”
Savills national Head of Retail Investments, Ben Parkinson said Mr Silberman had plenty to offer the Victorian branch.
"With an extensive network of industry contacts and a proven ability in transacting blue-chip properties, Rick will become a key asset within our Retail Investments offering,” he said.
“Rick will bolster our national retail investment capability and further strengthen the team in the southern states, and we look forward to seeing him establish himself as a true industry leader in the Victorian market.”
