Savills Victoria has announced Lachlan Berry and Alex Hurst as the participants of its 2019 Graduate Program.
A couple of fresh faces have joined the Savills team in Victoria, with Lachlan Berry and Alex Hurst announced as participants of company's graduate program for 2019.
The pair will rotate across various divisions in the Victoria branch throughout the 43-week course, including Sales & Investment, Valuation & Advisory, Residential Services, Leasing, Asset Management, Research & Consultancy, and Project Management.
Mr Berry, 22, has started with the Valuation & Advisory team, while Mr Hurst, 25, recently joined the CBD & Metropolitan Sales division.
The former has just begun his Masters in Property at The University of Melbourne, having completed a Bachelors of Environments, majoring in Property, in 2017.
He told WILLIAMS MEDIA that the start of his rotation was also where he would like to end up.
"I've been interested in valuations since uni and I feel it could be very valuable to have that knowledge in the long term," he said.
"Before I started here, I was working in hospitality, so it's been really great to apply what I learned at uni in a hands-on environment."
His counterpart had a taste of agency life prior to joining Savills, spending two years two working as a Buyers Representative with Summit Realty South West and LJ Hooker in his home town of Bunbury in Western Australia before starting his Masters in Valuation and Property Development at Bond University on the Gold Coast.
Despite his residential background, Mr Hurst told WILLIAMS MEDIA he did not have any one particular area of interest when it came to the various rotations.
"I'm pretty keen to do all the rotations as I think they will be helpful," he said.
"Experiencing each part of the company gives me a pretty good foundation from which I can hopefully extend my career out into commercial property."
