A fully-tenanted Newcastle office building at 18 Honeysuckle Drive is expected to generate strong interest following its release to the market this week.
DOMA Group has presented fully-tenanted Newcastle CBD office building to the market as part of its efforts to revitalize the Honeysuckle precinct.
The newly built, seven-level A Grade office building at 18 Honeysuckle Drive has a net lettable area of 6,524sqm, as well as a five-star green rating.
Colliers International Managing Director Newcastle, Chris Chapman, said the property was expected to generate strong interest.
“With public transport on its doorstep, as well as all the city centre retail, hospitality and recreational amenity, 18 Honeysuckle Drive achieved 100% occupancy with high quality tenants,” he said.
“Tenants include private and government occupants such as Coal Mining LSL Corp and Southern Cross Austereo.
"The new owner will have the security of knowing these net leases have on average close to seven years to run.”
According to Colliers, the Net Passing Income of 18 Honeysuckle Drive, fully-leased and with signage, is more $3.2 million.
DOMA Development General Manager, Gavin Edgar, said the group wanted to breathe new life into the precinct.
“Our team remains committed to creating new modern living and working options for Newcastle residents, exceptional places for visitors to stay and to encourage more people to explore all the beautiful Hunter Region offers," he said.
"Current DOMA projects include the Little National Hotel and redevelopment of the former The Store site which includes a new 15,000m2 building with Property NSW as a tenant.
"The Hunter Region’s many advantages, including proximity to Sydney and excellent transport links, will contribute to the sale of 18 Honeysuckle Drive."
