CBRE has appointed former Herron Todd White CEO Brendon Hulcombe to head its Pacific Valuation & Advisory Services business.
Former Herron Todd White CEO Brendon Hulcombe has been appointed to lead CBRE's Pacific Valuation & Advisory Services business.
Mr Hulcombe announced his departure from the valuation and advisory firm last Wednesday after more than a decade in the top job.
He will commence with CBRE in early November from Brisbane.
CBRE’s Pacific President & CEO Phil Rowland said Mr Hulcombe's appointment highlights the company's focus on "attracting leading talent to further strengthen our platform and client service offering".
“Brendon is recognised as a dynamic and engaging leader, with a strong track record in driving complex and challenging commercial initiatives to deliver exceptional client outcomes," he said.
The announcement follows Tom Edwards’ promotion to Global Head of CBRE Valuation & Advisory Services alongside his existing Asia Pacific leadership role.
Mr Hulcombe will be assuming Mr Edwards’ Pacific leadership responsibilities supported by Kyle Richardson (leader of Commercial Valuations in Australia), Jarrod Frazer (leader of Australian Residential Valuations), Campbell Stewart (leader of Commercial Valuations in New Zealand, and Duncan Guthrie (Head of Pacific Operations).
It marks the beginning of a new era, not only for Mr Hulcombe, but also for his previous employer, who confirmed that Jacqui Bayles will step into the role of Acting CEO.
In a statement released last week, HTW chairman Jeff Forbes thanked the outgoing CEO for "his many contributions" to the firm.
"The Board of HTW has thanked Brendon for leading us through a long period of sustained growth, for his expert client relationship management, his valuation industry leadership, and his stewardship of HTW," he said.
