With a background in residential sales, Ms Barrett becomes the first woman to join the commercial sales team
Having grown up in Strathfield and Chippendale, Ms Barrett said she knows the Sydney city fringe market like the back of her hand.
“I grew up in Strathfield but moved to Chippendale to be nearer university in 2014 and have been living in the inner-city since,” she said.
“I know the inner-west, inner-city and city back to front."
Barrett said she began her career three years ago in residential sales in the Eastern suburbs before she switched gears to become a marketing and commercial sales assistant.
From there she decided the time was right to become a fully-fledged commercial real estate agent.

Barrett said it was an easy choice to join Ray White.
“Ray White is a brand that works in wonderful unity and has a very inviting nature, so for me it was a no-brainer to join the family-owned and run business," she said.
“Due to my background in media and communications, I've a great knowledge in marketing and have great attention to detail.
“Being the only female commercial sales agent in the team, I think I bring some balance and a softer energy to the business, which I think works well.
“My best memory is whenever I've delivered customer service to a client that has left them overwhelmed, even in the most difficult of circumstances.”
Ray White Commercial NSW – Sydney City Fringe Principals Kristian Morris and Justin Rose said they were pleased to welcome Ms Barrett to the team.
“Zoe has a lot of energy and great aspirations and that complements the forward-thinking and positive attitudes of our wider team,” Mr Morris said.
“It’s great to have someone with such hunger as part of the team and you can really tell this is a role that Zoe has wanted for a few years,” Mr Rose said.
