The growth of its own recruitment staff specialists leads to move
Hudson has relocated its Canberra headquarters to 17 Moore Street to provide additional office space for its expanding business.
The recruitment agency has moved from 54 Marcus Clarke Street down the block to a 649 square metre space at 17 Moore Street.
Colliers International Office Leasing Executive, Caleb Brinton, said that Hudson had doubled its office size to provide enough space for its expanding business.
At a glance:
Purchased by Marprop in Janaury 2019 with 85 per cent vacancy, 17 Moore Street has achieved significant success due to Marprop’s strategy of friction-free leasing.
“Quality office space in the CBD is in high demand and since 17 Moore Street was acquired by Marprop approximately 60 per cent of its vacancy has been leased,” Brinton said.
“By acting quickly, Hudson has been able to secure a space that will serve it well into the future.”
Located with outstanding exposure onto Barry Drive, one of the city’s main thoroughfares, 17 Moore Street offers excellent accessibility and amenity.
“We are very pleased to have a company of the calibre of Hudson join our other exceptional tenants at 17 Moore Street,” Marprop Investment Executive Ben Simmons said.
“We acquired the building due to strong fundamentals; environmental efficiency and prime positioning in the CBD next to the now-operational light rail.
“Since then we have focused on pre-empting the needs of tenants by providing high quality fit-outs, market leading End of Trip, towel service, a café and lift upgrades, all to improve the experience of our tenants by providing a superior workplace.
“This strategy has produced a series of strong results for all parties involved.”
