A commercial leasehold in the heart of Melbourne's coveted 'Golden Mile' shopping precinct has been snapped up by Viva Leisure in a deal negotiated through Rory White of Gray Johnson.
A prominent corner position in Melbourne's coveted 'Golden Mile' shopping precinct has been leased through Gray Johnson.
Comprising 1002 square metres, 302-304 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading is a contemporary building with separate designated loading facilities and abundant undercover customer parking.
Gray Johnson’s leasing agent Rory White says it will now be tenanted by a subsidiary of ASX-listed company Viva Leisure as a gymnasium and health club.
At a glance:
“Their new lease is for ten years at a commencing annual rental of $265,000 net," he said.
“The location is the absolute heart of Nunawading’s Golden Mile with significant passing traffic and a service road frontage as well as the prominent corner with Varman Court.
"Whilst we are in a very challenging commercial environment, we are working closely with several larger groups and publicly-listed entities that are looking to place themselves in a favourable position to capitalise on the rebounding economy."

The property's position on the southern side of Whitehorse Road means it has high exposure to traffic while also being part of Melbourne's premier bulky goods precinct.
Known as the 'Golden Mile', the retail hub includes such tenants as Bunnings, Captain Snooze, Officeworks, Carpet Call, Plush, Beacon Lighting, Ray's Outdoors and the newly-upgraded Brand Smart development.
The property was previously occupied by a furniture retailer whose lease had expired.
