A new Brisbane office and dining precinct from Dexus will be among the projects to be rolled out once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
Brisbane's offices and cafes may be off-limits until further notice, but Dexus has given the city's workers something to look forward to with The Annex.
Situated at the gateway of Brisbane's Golden Triangle business precinct at 12 Creek Street, The Annex aims to bring business connectivity and bespoke design to a prime CBD setting, delivering 7,200 square metres of office space with a range of amenities.
Practical completion of the building was achieved last month, with tenancy fit-out works now being undertaken on a number of the office floors.

Dexus Waterfront Brisbane Project Director Matthew Beasley told WILLIAMS MEDIA the building's design both respected and celebrated its proximity to the adjoining fig trees, reflecting the Brisbane City Council's 'buildings that breathe' principles.
"The property provides a boutique office offer enabling smaller businesses to have their own floor and address in the Golden Triangle," he said.
“The building features dedicated interconnecting stairs providing enhanced connectivity, an operable façade through the building providing access to fresh air, and an activated ground plane and adjoining laneway to facilitate informal spaces for meetings.”

Above the arrival plaza, nine levels of boutique spaces are linked by an interconnecting stair to create workplace neighbourhoods, while the facade of the lower six levels, aligning with the fig tree canopy, is designed to allow for outdoor occupation, according to architects BVN.
At the end of last year, Dexus announced the site would also be home to a new dining and entertainment precinct, with the team behind some of Brisbane’s hippest eateries to open their latest Comuna Cantina concept and a Corbett & Claude café, creating a new 7-day a week laneway and outdoor dining and drinking venue for Brisbane.
Mr Beasley said the commencement of retail operations and the official opening date of the building would be reassessed "in line with Government advice and guidelines".
