CBRE'S Canberra branch has received a strong endorsement from the Real Estate Institute of the ACT, with Managing Director Zoe Ferrari winning Operational Leadership Person of the Year award at the 2020 REIACT Awards for Excellence.

Held on Saturday, November 21, the REIACT awards encourage, promote and celebrate excellence in the real estate profession.  

In what was a highly competitive category, Ms Ferrari was recognised for supporting clients and employees through the turbulence brought about by both the bushfires early in 2020 and the ensuing COVID-19 period.

CBRE’s CEO, Australia & New Zealand, Phil Rowland noted said the award was a "fitting recognition" for Ms Ferrari.

"Zoe has shown unwavering commitment to supporting our staff and clients through what has been an incredibly challenging year," he said.

"Her leadership, open and honest communication style and the guidance and mentorship she’s provided during this period has been phenomenal and this has been reflected in the positive workplace culture and strong engagement we have in our Canberra office.”

CBRE was also a finalist in the REIACT Community Service and Operational Support Person of the Year categories.
