Ray White Commercial (WA) has announced the appointment of Dan Clarke as Senior Office Leasing Advisor.
Ray White Commercial (WA) has bolstered its office leasing division with the appointment of Dan Clarke as Senior Office Leasing Advisor.
Mr Clarke brings more than five years of commercial experience to the role, during which time he has established himself as a well-recognised and respected operator within the Perth office leasing sector.
He said Ray White Commercial (WA) was the "perfect place" to utilise his skills.
At a glance:
“The opportunity arose to expand the office leasing team’s dynamic and portfolio and I look forward to continuing what I enjoy most, completing leasing deals, and making owners happy," he said.

"I also pride myself on excellent communication, customer service skills, and a real drive to succeed.

“I want to continue to build strong relationships with the immediate Perth and national owners and deliver on their expectations."
New research from Ray White Commercial (WA) found that Perth's commercial office market reached a high level of investment for the 2019/20 financial year, with $1.906 billion in transactions recorded throughout the 12 months, representing growth of 51.85 per cent on the previous year's result.
Mr Clarke told WILLIAMS MEDIA the Perth market was "eager to pick up where it left off" from the third and fourth quarter of 2019 and early stages of 2020 before COVID hit.
"We found the market then to be in a strengthening position with some landlords being able to push back a little on market incentives to the tune of 5-10 per cent," he said.
"There were early discussions of slight increases of face rents also during this time in the top end of the market.
"Tenants continued to move towards leasing in the top end of the market, and as the premium grade vacancies have started to reduce, and some tenants are looking to perhaps reduce costs, the spotlight has shifted to A Grade and B Grade assets which have had landlords adding and refurbishing their vacancies with modern fit-outs, better building entry statements and an overall upgrade of their properties in order to stay relevant in the market.
"These same landlords understand it would be hard to compete with the premium quality buildings but as that vacancy has fallen in that grade they have realised they need to be top of the line and ensure that they appeal to the tenants in this market by providing not only a cosmetically appealing property but also provide tenant amenity to a high standard."
When he is not working, Mr Clarke coaches a men's league football team and also enjoys spending time with his two daughters.
Ray White Commercial (WA) Director of Office Leasing Clive Norman said his appointment supports the delivery of results-driven, customer-focused service for the agency's present and future clients.
“We're very excited to have Dan join the office leasing team and further strengthen our presence in the Perth office leasing sector,” he said.
