Cyber security specialist CyberCX will open its new Perth headquarters at 28 The Esplanade as part of a leasing deal negotiated by CBRE's James Phelan.
A leasing deal nearly two decades in the making has been signed in Perth, with cyber security firm CyberCX securing the tenancy of a level within 28 The Esplanade.
According to leasing agency CBRE, The transaction is the first new full-floor leasing transaction at the 20-storey building in more than 15 years.
Cyber CX will occupy a full floor office spanning 918.5sqm on the 13th level of the former BGC Centre building.

The office was leased as a speculative fit-out that will be modified to suit the tenant’s requirements.
CBRE’s James Phelan negotiated the six-year lease term on behalf of Redhill Partners for a net rental of $550 per square metre.
Mr Phelan said the speculative fit-out strategy was key to leasing the space.
“The opportunity to move into a new fit-out ready for occupation was one of the main drawcards, attracting strong competition from a number of prospective tenants, which resulted in its leasing within just four weeks of completion,” he said.
“The tenant’s confidence in the landlord was also instrumental in helping finalise the deal given their flexibility and amenability to accommodate design requirements.”
The lease deal represents the second transaction over 500 square metres since Redhill Partners purchased the building in November 2019.
The building, which offers direct connectivity to the newly upgraded Allendale Square food court, will undergo a ground floor lobby refurbishment in the near future.
