Colliers International’s Real Estate Management team now oversees the largest commercial property portfolio in the ACT, following its appointment by Centuria to manage its Canberra assets.
Colliers International's ACT management portfolio has been pushed past 700,000 square metres following its appointment to oversee Centuria's assets.
It comes after the property fund manager conducted a tender process for the collection of properties and facilities, which total more than 75,000 square metres.
Centuria Portfolio Manager, Matthew McQueen said Colliers had displayed a passion about "what they do and how they do it".

“We received a number of high-quality proposals, but the Colliers team demonstrate a breath and depth of knowledge not only in the real estate management space but across the wider office asset class," he said.

Colliers International National Director Real Estate Management (REM), Rupert Cullen, said the appointment, which was across five commercial office assets and one industrial facility, would create an additional two roles in our team to backfill, adding he was "extremely proud and grateful" to be partnering with Centuria.
“We have been working on this strategy for some time and the team has done an incredible job to execute the plan in this challenging time," he said.
“This appointment reaffirms that Colliers Office Asset class solution resonates with our clients.
“People are drawn to experts and we are very fortunate to have people with exceptional skills across all our business lines in Canberra.
"I think we are seeing a structural move in how property and facilities management services are delivered. Even before COVID, we began testing an integrated model, moving away from centralised shared services.”
