Two of the southern Gold Coast’s leading commercial property specialists Greg Watson and Tara Imlach have joined LJ Hooker Commercial’s new agency servicing the spectrum of business and investor interests in the city’s south.
Greg Watson and Tara Imlach are now heading up the Commercial Department of LJ Hooker Commercial Palm Beach and Coolangatta & Tweed offices, bringing with them more than four decades of combined experience in the commercial industry.
Greg‘s background includes a period as a Principal of a well-known branded agency where he specialised in commercial sales. Before starting in commercial property in the early 2000s, he was a highly recognised builder throughout the region.
Over a career spanning more than 15-years, Tara has become well-known as a trusted sales and leasing specialist in the region. Having worked across all aspects of real estate, Tara is driven by her need to optimise property investment strategies and provides expert guidance on how to secure these outcomes.
Greg & Tara have worked closely together at a local agency in recent years, developing unmatched knowledge and extensive connections throughout the city’s south.
LJ Hooker Commercial Palm Beach, Coolangatta & Tweed Managing Director Daniel Alexander said the appointments were a key part of their growth strategy and came at a pivotal time following a recent commercial management acquisition which doubled the size of their commercial portfolio.
“We are delighted to have Greg and Tara spearheading our commercial offering in the southern Gold Coast corridor.
“Greg has been known as the ‘go-to’ commercial agent in the Southern Gold Coast area for many years now through his connections and negotiation skills. Tara is a long-term local who knows her commercial numbers and the local market like the back of her hand. Her broad experience and versatility has helped her develop an excellent reputation with her clients for unsurpassed service.
“Having Greg and Tara team up with Brett (Gleeson, Director of Property Management) allows us to offer a comprehensive and holistic experience to our commercial clients.”
LJ Hooker Queensland State Director Steve Mutton welcomed the duo to the network.
“Tara is enthusiastic and passionate in her commitment to clients,” said Mr Mutton. She combines business acumen with a high level of service that meets the needs of owner-occupants, tenants and investors across industrial, retail and office markets.
“Greg’s connections have made him a sought-after sales specialist in the city’s southern suburbs. Having a background in the building industry has allowed him to provide important insights to developer clients in their planning strategies.”
LJ Hooker Commercial Managing Director Mathew Tiller congratulated Mr Alexander on the appointments.
“Dan has a very clear vision for what he wants to offer commercial property clients in the Gold Coast’s southern corridor - trusted guidance and exceptional connections,” said Mr Tiller.
“Having Greg, Tara and Brett offering services across sales, leasing and management will offer clients in the region a new opportunity to make the most of their investments and business activities.”
