The CBRE Victorian Retail Leasing Team have concluded a leasing transaction at the Mason SQ, Moonee Ponds precinct, on behalf of Caydon Property Group. CBRE’s Jason Orenbuch successfully leased a 145 sqm space located at 40 Hall Street to Removery, who is the largest specialised provider of tattoo removal globally.
The group have strategically secured the Hall Street retail space which is in the heart of the Moonee Ponds activity centre and a popular and in-demand position in Melbourne’s North. Removery co-founder and director, Chris Chambers, said “we are excited to become part of this bustling area in an important part of Melbourne as part of our national rollout. The site will provide great visibility for us and complement our other Melbourne locations and over 40 sites across the US and Canada.”
‘Moonee Ponds has grown from strength to strength over the past 5 years and has become a hot destination for retail operators to grow and expand to’, CBRE’s Jason Orenbuch commented. ‘We are seeing confidence coming back to the retail leasing market since the circuit-breaker lock-down, retailers are flocking to fringe and inner-suburban areas, with spaces being highly contested by several groups per space’, Mr Orenbuch further commented.
