In Max’s real estate career to date, much of his time has been invested in servicing owners within the Melbourne City Fringe market. In this role, he will continue to build and strengthen those relationships, working closely with Dylan Kilner, who also joined Stonebridge Property Group earlier this year.
The city fringe market has seen incredible growth through-out Q1 of 2021. This has been unpinned by an extremely strong finish in late Q4 2020 with three times the average monthly volume of deals transacting in December 2020, with businesses now focusing their attention on worker closer to home. This trend is expected to continue.
Max brings a wealth of experience through-out the north-eastern city fringe belt having transacted major assets in Fitzroy, Collingwood, Richmond, Cremorne, South Yarra, Prahran and St Kilda.
Max on joining Stonebridge Property Group said, “I’ve always had the vision on joining an elite commercial agency. When the opportunity came to join the Melbourne office of Stonebridge, at such an early stage, it was an opportunity I was keen to pursue. The focus on the Melbourne City Fringe is also very exciting, being one of the most dynamic markets in Melbourne with a broad range of office, retail and industrial assets all targeted to investors and occupiers.”
This appointment follows a number of other announcements over recent weeks. Rorey James, Nic Hage and Kate Johnston joined two weeks ago with a focus on strip retail investments. Dylan Kilner joined in February, with a Melbourne City Fringe focus also.
Stonebridge Property Group Partner, Julian White said of the growing agency practice “With our recruitment, we are making a concerted effort to position key talent in all the major suburban markets, to ensure our clients receive a full market experience when dealing with us, combined with a personal touch that can only come from a privately owned agency practice. We see Max, and his skill set, a perfect fit for the Stonebridge Property Group brand and this strategy.
