Knight Frank has appointed a National Head of ESG in a key move towards achieving its goals in this space, including reaching NetZero by 2030.

Jenine Cranston has joined the agency in this role, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, including previously holding senior leadership client-facing roles at CBRE and Colliers.

She recently completed a sustainability and circular economy qualification at Cambridge University, and is well regarded in the real estate industry.

Knight Frank Chief Executive Officer James Patterson said the appointment was supportive of the agency’s commitment to its three pillars of People, Planet and Community and an important step towards achieving its goal of net zero carbon emissions by 2030.

“We aspire to become a market leader in ESG, and positively impact on the property sector and the wider communities and environments in which we operate,” he said.

“She will work closely with Knight Frank’s global ESG division, and our sustainability team in Australia will report to Jenine.”

Ms Cranston said she was deeply committed to driving ESG outcomes and making a material difference in a critical decade for our planet and community.
