The RWC network joined together to make June a hot month for auctions with their June Auction Showcase, shared RWC head of commercial James Linacre.
In a bid to heat up the cooler months, the RWC network joined together to make June a hot month for auctions with their June Auction Showcase.
The group has 51 auctions scheduled across the eastern seaboard throughout the month of June, with RWC business in Queensland, NSW, Victoria participating.
RWC head of commercial James Linacre said it was exciting to keep off winter with so many commercial auctions.
“Auctions are the lifeblood of the Ray White Group - we have been competition creators for more than 120 years,” he said.
“RWC scheduled 588 auctions in the last 12 months to June 1, up 5.4 per cent year-on-year.
“The group recorded a clearance rate of 57.6 per cent, with an average of 4.6 registered bidders and 3.0 active bidders per auction, demonstrating strong demand from buyers.
“With more than 50 auctions going ahead in June, this demonstrates confidence returning to the commercial property market, as well as sellers’ confidence in RWC and the auction process.”
Properties which sold under the hammer through RWC in the last 12 months received premiums an average of 27.2 per cent higher than the highest offer received prior to auction.
“Auctions continue to be the preferred method of sale for our sellers,” Mr Linacre said.
“The transparent nature of the auction process allows both buyers and sellers to meet the market, making sure our sellers receive the best possible price on auction day.”
