Dion Giannarelli, Director of Giannarelli Group, stated, “we are thrilled to work with Colliers to find the best tenants for The Ritz Carlton Gold Coast and Main Beach Super Yacht Marina. Additionally, we are very much looking forward to breaking ground in the latter part of Q1 2025 to bring Australia's finest luxury resort to life."

With a particular emphasis on securing iconic hospitality operators to complement the Ritz-Carlton's affluent offerings.
“We have had unprecedented interest in the spaces from both Australian and international luxury brands in the retail and restaurant space,” Chloe Lonergan said.
“We are looking for high-end tenants who want to be part of what will be Australia’s most exclusive and luxurious hotel and the first Australian hotel that includes a superyacht marina. This will also be the Gold Coasts’ first over water hospitality venue spanning across 1,200sqm.
"Customers can arrive to the precinct by boat, helicopter, or car to enjoy the complete Ritz-Carlton holiday, retail and dining experience.
“Consistent with the Ritz-Carlton brand, the Colliers search will place a strong emphasis on locating the world's finest upscale dining experiences.
“Colliers will be running an Expressions of Interest campaign to secure the best high-end food and beverage tenants, alongside luxury retail brands to compliment the hotel and a day spa,” Chloe Lonergan added.
Majority of growth in new store openings for luxury retail in Australia are centred around burgeoning luxury retail markets in major tourist destinations like the Gold Coast. With Luxury Retail sales in Australia expected to grow at an annual rate of +2.7% annually from 2024 to 2029.
Colliers Head of Retail Leasing Australia, Michael Tuck said “Nationally, we are seeing a real scarcity for quality luxury retail locations, with demand and enquiry from both domestic and international brands at extremely high levels.
“Luxury retail locations are tightly held, and limited supply continues to drive demand, which is why this is such a great opportunity to get in early to what will be one of Australia’s most exclusive locations.”
Colliers Queensland Executive Retail Leasing Lara Mitchell said that Australia was becoming well known as the new retail hotspot for luxury brands.
“We are talking to the best retail operators from across the globe to establish their presence and tailor it to this unique waterfront opportunity,” Lara Mitchell said.
“Driving luxury retail is the experience that comes with purchasing in store, with retailers investing heavily in maximising the customer journey.
“The Ritz-Carlton Gold Coast ticks all of the boxes in providing a seamless luxury experience for visitors and guests.
“And with all eyes on the region as the Brisbane 2032 Olympics approach, we are seeing more luxury brands looking to establish themselves here,” Lara Mitchell added.
The Ritz-Carlton hotel, due to open in 2027, will boast 153 luxury rooms which will have a variety of facilities on their doorstep including a rooftop pool, a day spa and an array of dining and bar options, alongside the precincts’ luxury retail.
