BBC Studios Australia – the world-renowned content studio and media streaming business – will occupy nearly 1,800 square metres on level 3 of the 10-storey building, which includes panoramic views of Sydney’s CBD and Harbour. The building is now 80 per cent leased.
BBC Studios Australia will join other tenants at Blue & William, including global data, analytics and technology company Equifax, which officially opened the doors to its new workplace in October last year; global culture and leadership consultancy firm, Human Synergistics; and one of Australia's largest rail freight businesses, Pacific National.
Designed by global architecture and design studio Woods Bagot, Blue & William represents the latest in workplace thinking and design. The A Grade building offers a landscaped wellness garden, views of Sydney Harbour, family owned and operated on site café and caterer, Northbrew Café, and premium lobby and end-of-trip facilities.
The development was acquired by Keppel REIT in December 2021 and reached practical completion in April 2023. Lendlease developed and is managing the building, adding to its growing commercial footprint in North Sydney, which is undergoing major transformation with the opening of Victoria Cross and the new metro station.
The building is designed to achieve the 5 Star Green Star Design and As Built Rating by the Green Building Council of Australia, as well as the 5.5 Stars National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) Base Building Energy Rating.
