These teams, located in Hobart and Launceston, will manage 10 shopping centres for Region Group, marking the beginning of a new phase for Knight Frank Australia in Tasmania.
Knight Frank has a long history in the state, with a franchise that operated for 27 years until the middle of 2024. The firm plans to grow its brand again in Tasmania over the coming years.

Collectively, this newly formed team has over 100 years of experience in commercial and shopping centre management, ensuring that Knight Frank is well-equipped to deliver exceptional service in AMS in Tasmania.
Knight Frank Head of Asset Management, Region Portfolio Jo Fleming said the establishment of the new AMS teams in Tasmania was significant for Knight Frank and its operations in the state.
“Knight Frank has been managing Region Group’s portfolio of 100 shopping centres across Australia since the two groups entered a strategic partnership in mid-2022,” she said.
“We now manage 10 shopping centres in Tasmania for Region Group, and we’re excited to be expanding our service offering in the state in the near future.
“The Knight Frank Tasmania team is comprised of highly experienced operators who will enable us to provide the best service to Region Group’s centres as well as providing a foundation for other organisations within the Tasmanian market.

Knight Frank Australia Chief Executive Officer James Patterson said he was enthusiastic about growing Knight Frank’s presence in Tasmania.
“In addition to strengthening our Asset Management Services team to provide the best service for Region Group, we intend to expand our presence in the state further in 2025,” he said.
