CBRE has re-opened its Sydney CBD office after a transformation that combines innovative design and state-of-the-art technology to create a world-class workplace.
CBRE’s NSW Senior Managing Director Andrew Roy noted the office space at 363 George Street had been meticulously designed to support connection and collaboration, which ultimately would deliver better results for clients.
“As a global gateway, our Sydney office is now a world-class workspace that reflects our commitment to excellence and innovation,” Mr Roy said.
“This more connected workspace will enable us to communicate more effectively, share ideas more freely, and work together more seamlessly. As we collaborate more closely, we will also see improvements in our efficiency and productivity, allowing us to deliver even greater value to our clients,” he added.
Across three floors and approximately 3,700sqm, the office includes a range of new facilities and creative spaces including a business lounge which can be used by both staff and clients, a presentation suite, a social hub, and an event space.
CBRE Director of Workplace Consulting Jenny Liu noted the project brought her team’s experience and expertise in strategy and change management to the forefront.
“This transformation isn’t just about place—it’s about people. The way we work continues to evolve, and we’re embracing change with a workplace that supports our teams to be their most effective, creative, and engaged,” Ms Liu said.
“Focused on enhancing workplace experience, engagement, and performance, we’ve created an ecosystem that encourages our people to experiment with new ways of working. Whether it’s rethinking how we connect with our clients, collaborate with each other, leverage technology, or create spaces that empower focus and flexibility, our new office is a living showcase of what’s possible,” she added.
Aligning with CBRE’s net zero ambitions, sustainability was at the forefront of the refurbishment, with the office designed and constructed to achieve a 6-Star Green Star Interiors rating, a WELL Platinum certification, and a 6-Star NABERS Energy Rating.
The project was one of only seven accepted into the Early Access Program of the Green Building Council of Australia’s new Green Star Fit-outs tool.
The office refurbishment was the result of extensive collaboration of several CBRE leaders and teams including New South Wales Operations, Project Management, Workplace Consulting, Technology and Guest Relations, in partnership with architecture firm Bates Smart and construction group Shape.
