CBRE has come out on top at the 2019/2020 Asia Pacific Property Awards held in Bangkok this week, named Best Property Consultancy in Australia

The firm collected 18 national awards across 12 Asia Pacific markets, with the Australian business also named as a regional nominee for Best Property Consultancy in the Asia Pacific and best International Property Consultancy. 

The winners of the regional categories will be announced in December at the International Property Awards in London.

CBRE’s Pacific President & CEO, Phil Rowland said the recognition was a testament to the company's approach to business.

“This is a significant achievement, which recognises our focus on delivering significant advantage to our clients and embedding a company culture that embraces innovation and celebrates diversity and inclusion,” he said.

A key milestone for the company in 2018 was the development of its new global technology platform, HOST,  which delivers enhanced employee experiences in the workplace.

Originally conceived by the company Property Management division for one of Australia’s largest commercial landlords, Charter Hall, the app is designed to help rethink the delivery of property management services, workspaces and technologies and ultimately position their properties as coveted destinations for high-value tenants. 

Mr Rowland said last year also ushered in a broadening of the CBRE's property management capabilities to include a greater focus on the retail sector.

"With the acquisition of Race Property – a leader in integrated retail leasing and property management services-  CBRE was given an opportunity to significantly grow its retail capabilities with greater collaboration across its retail leasing and property management divisions," he said.

"The combined operation employs more than 130 professionals with deep and broad capabilities in the sector, encompassing retail facilities management, property  management, finance and leasing."

•    Property Consultancy, Best (5 Stars): Australia, Cambodia, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand
•    Property Consultancy: China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam
•    Lettings Agency, Best (5 Stars): Vietnam
•    Real Estate Agency, Best (5 Stars): Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam
•    Real Estate Agency: Vietnam
•    Websites: Thailand (Property Consultancy Website, Real Estate Agency Website)
 
The winners were selected by an independent panel of industry experts.
