Western Australia's Antonio Trimboli has taken on a new challenge for 2019, joining the office leasing team at JLL.
For Antonio Trimboli, it's all about the deals.
The 25-year-old began his real estate career as a retail property manager at Colliers in 2015, only to make the switch to office leasing two years later.
He said the change came from wanting to work in a more proactive environment.
"I like the idea of interacting with different people on a daily basis and doing deals," he said.
"It appeals to me a lot more than the managerial side of real estate, which is a bit more reactive.
"I definitely prefer situations where I'm getting deals over the line."
Mr Trimboli has just taken another step forward in his careeer, joining JLL's office leasing team after being approached by the agency last year.
He said it had so far been an easy transition.
"I think JLL is the right place for me to continue my development and growth," he said.
"It's nice to be at another place where the people are all very professional and the agency is well renowned.
"I knew a few of the guys here from my previous role, so it's been good to work with them."
The Perth office market is among those expected to rise in 2019, as demand moves outside the traditionally dominant centres of Sydney and Melbourne.
Mr Trimboli believes the market will benefit from the resources recovery.
"I think we are going to start to see it start to improve across the next 12 to 18 months," he said.
"A lot of the inquiries I was recieving towards the end of last year were from either new groups in the resource sector looking for space, or existing groups looking to expand their current space.
"It seems as though we have seen the worst of what this current cycle will bring."
