LJ Hooker Commercial South Sydney | Inner West’s efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the office being named the Small Commercial Agency of the Year at the Real Estate Institute of NSW’s annual awards.
In a year when global uncertainty brought investor caution and the Commercial Tenancy Code of Conduct added to the workloads of property managers, the LJ Hooker Commercial South Sydney | Inner West agency was sought out by sellers and landlords alike.
Accepting the award, Managing Director Daniel O’Brien said the year had been unconventional and challenging for the sector.
“The award is testament to the efforts of everyone in the team,” said Mr O’Brien.
“From our sales agents to our asset management division, we’ve been changing tack for our clients, getting them through what has been a difficult year for the bulk of sectors.
“I couldn't be prouder of the efforts of everyone in going above and beyond.”
LJ Hooker Commercial Managing Director Mathew Tiller congratulated the South Sydney | Inner West team on the acknowledgment.
“This is the second time Daniel and the team have won the REINSW award since 2017, and the third time they’ve been finalists in the category,” said Mr Tiller.
“They rose to the challenge of COVID-19, especially for their landlords. But their-track record in the REINSW Awards for Excellence over several years now has proven their consistency across the breadth of economic conditions.
“They’ve proven their reputation as the trusted commercial real estate specialists through the South Sydney-Inner West corridor.”
