Knight Frank Chief Executive Officer James Patterson said the sponsorship of The NSW Waratahs Women’s rugby team was timely given International Women’s Day on March 8, and the focus on a gender equal world.
The NSW Waratahs Women’s rugby team is proud to announce a one-year partnership with Knight Frank Australia
The partnership will see Knight Frank as a principal partner of the four-time undefeated Super W Championship winning Waratahs, with its logo featured on the front of the jersey for the 2022 season.
Just like the Super W Waratahs, Knight Frank knows success. With a proven track record established over 125 years, Knight Frank is part of a global powerhouse sharing the resources, knowledge and insights of a company spanning 384 offices and more than 16,000 individuals.
As an added layer to the partnership, Knight Frank will provide employment opportunities for Waratahs Women's players which work around their training commitments.
Knight Frank Chief Executive Officer James Patterson said the sponsorship was timely given International Women’s Day on March 8, and the focus on a gender equal world.
“At Knight Frank we are striving to create a healthy and balanced workplace, and we are passionate about creating career opportunities for women in the property,” he said.
“We are working towards 40:40:20 gender representation across all levels of our organisation, but our desire for gender equality isn’t restricted to property.
“We hope our partnership with the NSW Waratahs Women’s team will also help to drive meaningful change for women’s rugby, making it easier for team members to earn a living doing what they love and in the meantime work and play to the best of their ability.”
NSW Waratahs and Rugby CEO Paul Doorn said he was thrilled to have the Waratahs and Knight Frank so closely linked.
“The NSW Waratahs Super W side are such great role models to young girls and women aspiring to play rugby,” Doorn said.
“They sacrifice so much in order to be successful, having to be flexible with family and work commitments.
“The great thing about the partnership is how aligned the two are around work ethic, being results-driven but most importantly providing opportunities to excel both on and off the rugby field.”
The Super W Waratahs played their round two match against the Western Force on Sunday, March 13 at Leichhardt Oval – the first time with Knight Frank on the jersey, where they notched up their 20th straight victory to keep their unbeaten streak alive.
