Knight Frank’s George Burbury has taken out the Real Estate Institute of Australia’s coveted Commercial Salesperson of the Year award.
Mr Burbuy, who is based in Tasmania, said “I’m incredibly honoured to be recognised at a national level, especially whilst operating in a smaller property market compared to the likes of Sydney and Melbourne.
“Tasmania’s economy and property market has remained buoyant throughout the pandemic and is now considered by some as a financial safehaven due to it’s comparatively low volatility.
“This factor and others have encouraged the introduction of new capital into our market over the last 24 months and Knight Frank commercial has enjoyed handling the bulk of these transaction.
“The Knight Frank Tasmania commercial business operates as a true team and I wouldn’t be in a position to achieve this individual recognition without the support of both my fellow agents and our marketing and admin support,” Mr Burbury said.
