Knight Frank Partner and Chief Executive Officer James Patterson said the appointment of Katherine Moss demonstrated the global property consultancy’s commitment to growing its Occupier Strategy and Solutions team.
Knight Frank has strengthened its Occupier Strategy and Solutions team with the appointment of a National Head of Tenant Representation – Office.
Katherine Moss has moved to Knight Frank from Savills, where she has been Director of Worldwide Occupier Services for three and a half years.
Ms Moss has nearly 20 years’ experience in commercial property including in the United Kingdom and Australia (in both Sydney and Perth), working across Capital Markets at the start of her career before becoming a tenant rep and moving into occupier services.
Katherine first moved to Sydney in 2008, when international property consultancy firm King Sturge, relocated her from London to spear head their first foray into the Australian market. As the global financial crisis took hold, Katherine quickly pivoted from capital markets and into the rapidly growing sector of tenant advisory.
Knight Frank Partner and Chief Executive Officer James Patterson said the appointment demonstrated the global property consultancy’s commitment to growing its Occupier Strategy and Solutions team.
“We are increasingly focusing on this part of our business, particularly since COVID, as the demand for solutions from occupiers has grown immensely over the past few years as users evaluate their requirements in the post-pandemic landscape,” he said.
“Kath’s appointment will strengthen our offering to our valued clients, with her extensive and diverse experience adding to our expertise in this area.”
Ms Moss said she was excited about the possibilities for growth in Occupier Strategy and Solutions at Knight Frank, and was looking forward to leading the diverse and expanding team on that journey.
“This national role gives me the ability to bring my knowledge in tenant advisory to further develop the team's capabilities and really position us in the market as a leading advisory team,” she said.
“Knight Frank is making a big investment in the Occupier Strategy and Solutions space, and has a broad offering including tenant representation, workplace advisory, project management and ESG, which is required to support growth in the space and deliver holistic solutions for clients.
“The occupier advisory space is a dynamic sector that is continually evolving in response to the changing demands of the workplace, with the past two years marking some of the greatest workplace change we have ever seen.
“Knight Frank’s ever strengthening team has the capability to show our clients a real point of difference in expertise, with the collaboration across our network delivering seamless international solutions for our clients.”
