Colliers’ Western Australian office has cemented its position within the WA Commercial property market, by making several high-profile appointments and expanding its operations through several business lines. 

Experienced property professional James Baker has joined the Colliers’ West Australian team as the business experiences accelerated growth.

Colliers State Chief Executive for Western Australia, Richard Cash said, “Since opening our new company-owned operation on the 1st of January 2022, our team has expanded to include local market leaders across capital markets, leasing, valuations, facilities management, research and real estate management services.

Mr Cash said, “We have been very pleased with the number of high-quality operators expressing interest in joining the Colliers owned operation in Perth as it provides a market-leading platform to accelerate their success in the industry.” 

Mr Baker joins the team at Colliers WA as Director of Investment Services, bringing over 14 years of experience in Perth’s commercial market. James brings a wealth of experience delivering up-to-date, effective sales solutions achieving premium sales results for his clients.

“James’ extensive experience across the Asia Pacific landscape; his network of global investors and capital sources; as well as his expertise across investment sales and the commercial property industry; will further strengthen our investment services capability,” said Mr Cash.
