Colliers announce the appointment of two new members to the Retail Capital & Middle Markets team, with Harry Dever joining as an Associate Director, QLD and Ben Wilkinson joining as Manager, NSW.
Harry and Ben will work in the National Retail Middle Markets team, led by James Wilson, Head of Retail Middle Markets. As part of a national team of experts across Australia, they offer an in-depth understanding of retail centre performance and tenant mixing, combined with unparalleled insights into local buyer demand.
Lachlan MacGillivray, Managing Director, Retail Capital Markets, Asia Pacific said “We are thrilled to have Harry and Ben join our team, transitioning internally from our market leading Retail Leasing business. The sheer depth of retail leasing and asset positioning expertise that Ben and Harry bring will enable us to offer our clients an unmatched level of strategic retail insights and in turn superior sale results across their assets.” Mr MacGillivray said.
Harry will be based in Queensland where he was previously Director in Charge of the Colliers Queensland Retail Leasing business with a focus on Neighbourhood Shopping Centres, Large Format Centres and Healthcare assets. He has successfully delivered on many notable projects for key clients including Flagstone Village Shopping Centre, Andergrove Village Shopping Centre and most recently the Big Fish Junction.
Ben will be based in Sydney, building on his strong background as Colliers Manager of Retail Leasing Projects, a role which allowed him to develop his expertise in mixed-use projects and retail asset developments. Ben has already hit the ground running with the recent launch of a prime 1.2-hectare retail development site in Mirvac and Peet's prized $1.8 billion Googong master planned community near Canberra, which has attracted very strong initial interest.
“The addition of Harry and Ben to our national team brings significant benefit to our NSW & QLD businesses as well as our national platform of retail experts. Harry has a unique depth of experience across the retail landscape in Queensland, whilst Ben brings the same skillset from a NSW perspective,” said James Wilson, Head of Middle Markets, Australia. “We are very excited to welcome Harry and Ben to the team to enable us to continue to provide service excellence to our valued clients.”
