Global real estate services firm, JLL, has moved its Sydney corporate headquarters to the new landmark Sydney Place development at 180 George Street.
JLL, which specialises in commercial property and investment management, now occupies 3,532sqm across levels 25-27 of Salesforce Tower, the precinct’s flagship commercial tower.
Salesforce Tower is the tallest commercial tower in Sydney, and one of the tallest in Australia, and represents the highest standards in wellness, sustainability, and technology, and will be a place that fuels performance, innovation, and collaboration.
As industry leaders in workplace strategy and design, project management and office leasing, JLL’s relocation has reflected a focus on connected, flexible and sustainable modern workplaces.
JLL CEO Australia & New Zealand, Dan Kernaghan said, “JLL has had an established presence in Australia for 65 years, and the investment we are making in our new Sydney corporate headquarters at Sydney Place is about creating a workplace of the future.
“The exciting relocation is all about being ahead of the pack in how we run our business and support our people, which translates into better outcomes for our clients.
“Our people and our clients underpinned the design, and the diversity of our business has allowed us to deliver all elements of the relocation ourselves, from conception to completion. It’s been designed and built by our people, for our people,” said Mr Kernaghan.
JLL’s office fit-out has been designed by its in-house teams of Workplace Strategy and Interior Workspace Design, managed by JLL’s Project Management business. JLL’s Energy & Sustainability Services team is targeting 6 Star Green Star credentials and a Platinum Well rating for the new JLL Sydney office tenancy.
JLL has been appointed to provide property management services for the 180 George Street development, in addition to leasing the commercial office space.
JLL Managing Director NSW, Andrew Ballantyne said, “We see office spaces every day, and our Project Management team have created a fit-out that showcases the best in modern office design. The space draws inspiration from all areas of our business, taking insights from offices, hotels, coworking spaces and infuses hospitality to create a workplace that offers different spatial experiences and is hinged on flexibility.
"With this in mind, we’ve created a 100% agile multi-use space that recognises the way people are going to be working, giving our people the choice to work in a space that suits them best on any given day, depending on if their work is focused or more collaborative.
“Flexibility is built into the space through a range of traditional and non-traditional seating arrangements, collaboration and breakout zones, meeting rooms packed with best-in-class technology that consider the needs of virtual attendees and a premium media suite. 180 George Street amplifies the office experience for our people to do their best work,” said Mr Ballantyne.
