Ray White Commercial has announced changes to its leadership team, with James Linacre stepping into the role of General Manager after he was passed the baton by former Ray White Commercial Head of Agency Operations Andrew Freeman.
After three years leading Ray White’s commercial network, Mr Freeman will transition to a new role as Director of Ray White’s Victorian and Tasmanian residential network, bringing a deep skill set, extensive experience and strong industry relationships to the role as Ray White seeks to extend its leadership position.
Mr Linacre joined the Ray White family at the beginning of 2022 as Ray White Commercial business development executive.
He came to Ray White Commercial after four years in a commercial agency and two years working for the NSW Government facilitating property infrastructure transactions.
Mr Linacre has already made a strong contribution to the Ray White Commercial network, with a strong focus on skill development and recruitment.
“Between the White family and the senior leadership group, Ray White is truly a special place to work and develop professionally, and to be welcomed to the leadership bench is a truly humbling experience that I do not take for granted,” Mr Linacre said.
“The Ray White business began 121 years ago with commercial real estate as its foundation.
“I look forward to being part of the continued development of Ray White Commercial as we continue to grow and build on the sophistication of our group.
“With a powerful collaboration of proven performers and next generation leaders, Ray White Commercial’s ambition remains the springboard for our members to grow incredible businesses.”
Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White thanked Mr Freeman for his contribution.
“His leadership has seen our commercial network become larger and more ambitious, backed by a stronger corporate team,” Mr White said.
“We look forward to the next chapter of his career with us to build on our momentum in Victoria and Tasmania.”
Mr White said he looked forward to working closely with and supporting Mr Linacre in his new role.
“He is very deserving of this opportunity, and I know how restless he is to drive our commercial network into a new era of growth and performance.”
