The event saw a panel discussion moderated by Rob Langton of Commercial Ready which featured some of the countries biggest institutional names, including ISPT, Australian Unity, Nido Early School and Calibre Interiors. A keynote address was also provided by CBRE’s Head of Pacific Research, Sameer Chopra.
The annual event hosted by CBRE has become a fixture on the calendar for many operators, owners and investors across private capital and institutional markets with a substantial waitlist in place for the capacity event that took place on Tuesday 10th September.
CBRE’s Sandro Peluso said “There were a number of key takeaways from todays speakers which resonated well with the wider audience. The biggest talking point was the recent publicity surrounding the private healthcare sector with the overwhelming consensus being headwinds are a short term problem and a wider resolution via reform or government intervention will no doubt occur."
"The public healthcare system simply cannot handle the forthcoming surge in demand we are going to see over the next 15 years without private support. These demographic will continue to drive investors capital to invest in the space, and that much was made clear.”
Marcello Caspani-Muto said “The team greatly appreciate the on-going support from our partners and long-term connections in the room across our national healthcare and social infrastructure market with many guests traveling interstate to be in attendance. We continue to learn and grow with the sector and as a result of many of the shared insights of panelists and guests. The feedback we had from the event was positive and I felt there was tremendous value provided to the room from our guest speakers.”
Panel speakers – Nicole Plant (Australian Unity), Amanda Steele (ISPT), Mathew Edwards (Nido Early School) and Steven Mclean (Calibre Interiors).
