Realmark Commercial announce the appointment of Amanda Betteridge as Associate Director of Asset Management.
Realmark Commercial is proud to announce the appointment of Amanda Betteridge as Associate Director of Asset Management.
Amanda brings over 20 years of global experience, positioning her to play a vital role in strengthening Realmark’s asset and property management capabilities.
Her extensive background in shopping centre management adds a fresh perspective to the team, with a strong emphasis on relationship building and long-term outcomes.
“Joining Realmark is an opportunity to challenge myself and step outside my retail comfort zone,” she said.
“After meeting John (Percudani) and learning about Realmark’s vision, I was drawn to the chance to work closely with leadership and have a direct impact on the strategic direction of the business.
“I’ve always believed in the value of relationships—whether with tenants, owners, or team members. Long-term success comes from understanding everyone’s goals and finding solutions that work for all parties.”
Amanda’s impressive career spans the USA, UK, Europe, and Australia, managing complex and high profile assets.
In her role at intu Eldon Square in Newcastle, she oversaw a landmark city-centre property welcoming over 64 million visitors annually, balancing heritage-listed features with modern commercial demands.
After returning to Australia in 2015, Amanda played a key role at Mandurah Forum, where she supported the $350 million redevelopment project that doubled the centre’s size to 64,000 square metres.
Her ability to manage large teams and navigate complex capital projects has consistently delivered outstanding results.
“The redevelopment taught me how to keep the big picture in focus while managing countless moving parts—it’s about finding opportunities amidst challenges.”
Her career also includes leadership roles in operations and marketing, where she successfully implemented process improvements, enhanced team engagement, and negotiated key contracts.
These experiences have honed her strategic mindset, making her an asset to Realmark’s team.
“Amanda brings a degree of international and corporate expertise that will enhance the capabilities of our entire property management team,” said Realmark managing director, John Percudani.
“Her appointment comes at a pivotal time as we look to elevate every aspect of our competency— agency prowess, asset management, facility management, and property management—as we move into 2025.”
Ms Betteridge joins Realmark’s key commercial leaders, including director of asset management Gemma Hayes, head of commercial trust accounting Ha Nguyen, head of facilities management Mohammed Ali, and executive director of commercial agency Wayne Chorley.
Together, they are poised to drive Realmark’s asset management services to new heights.
