The former ANZ bank building in the Melbourne CBD, now renamed Atelier Exchange 351 Elizabeth Street Melbourne leased by JLL’s Sam Friend and Alexandra Harper together with Teska Carson’s Adrian Boutsakis have been appointed on behalf of T Corp Group to lease the building.
The former ANZ bank building in the Melbourne CBD, now renamed as Atelier Exchange, has secured F45 Training following its recent upgrades.
Standing at the corner of Elizabeth Street and La Trobe Street, at 351 Elizabeth Street, Atelier Exchange was the home to iconic banking institutions stretching back to the late 1880’s that included the Union Bank of Australia which later became ANZ.
The building offers a total of six remaining tenancies, with JLL’s Sam Friend and Alexandra Harper together with Teska Carson’s Adrian Boutsakis have been appointed on behalf of T Corp Group to lease the building. The remaining tenancies available include a mezzanine, level one to four each offering around 167 sqm each with outdoor terraces and a ground floor retail tenancy of around 210 sqm with a double heigh ceiling.
Mr Friend and Ms Harper negotiated the lease for F45 Training, who will occupy the basement space of approximately 270 sqm for an initial five-year term at a rate of $560 per sqm.
Mr Friend said, “Atelier Exchange offers abundant light-filled spaces, soaring ceilings and custom details, finished at the highest standards of construction. Each space inspires creative expression, with versatile designs tailored to fit.
“The building was extensively restored throughout 2021 and offers state-of-the-art amenities made ideal for boutique workplaces,” he said.
Ms Harper said, “The design ethos for Atelier Exchange enhances the building’s distinctive character, bringing understated luxury and contemporary interiors to sit seamlessly within its historic framework.”
Originally designed in 1926 by notable architects Butler and Market, the name, Atelier Exchange honours its prosperous banking heritage and architectural spirit of integrity, strength and creativity.
