Tenants are being sought for a state-of-the-art daycare centre in Golden Age’s most recent Melbourne development, SKY SQR, opening late 2024.
CBRE’s Jimmy Tat, Sandro Peluso and Marcello Caspani-Muto have been appointed to steer the leasing campaign on behalf of Golden Age.
Located on the second floor of the SKY SQR podium at 517 – 521 Station Street, Box Hill, the day care centre has space for 107 children and will include a large outdoor space offering a safe and stimulating environment for children and ten dedicated undercover car spaces for drop-offs and pick-ups.
Golden Age's development plans reflect its commitment to creating innovative spaces that cater to the evolving needs of the community. The 72,000sqm development has been architecturally designed by Fender Katsalidis and encompasses a three-storey retail podium and food precinct under two 16-level towers with a three-level basement.
Golden Age's Managing Director Jeff Xu said, “Box Hill has emerged as a thriving destination and is renowned as Melbourne's second satellite city. Golden Age has realised its potential with our newest project SKY SQR and once built, will become the centre of the Box Hill activity hub. In line with our community-focused values, a cutting-edge childcare centre has been strategically incorporated into the project. This collaboration with top-tier architects, designers, and consultants ensures the realisation of an extraordinary final product that sets new benchmarks in the industry.”
Mr Tat added, “The childcare centre’s location in Box Hill's main commercial precinct ensures convenient access to all amenities and enhances the overall urban experience. There are several primary schools nearby, making this childcare centre a great option for families seeking a balance between early education and primary school transition.”
“This leasing opportunity is a testament to Box Hill’s continuous urbanisation and the growing demand for education facilities in the area.”
