Brookfield Properties and Cbus Property have secured well known Western Australian hospitality operators, Three Pound Group, to occupy the hero retail tenancy at Nine The Esplanade, Elizabeth Quay.
Three Pound Group has further announced that it has entered into a partnership with Lion to expand the iconic Little Creatures brand from its traditional Fremantle base to this exciting new venue - to be known as Little Creatures Elizabeth Quay.
This move marks an exciting chapter in the brewery's storied journey, offering beer enthusiasts an immersive and tantalising experience in a dynamic and picturesque setting.
Little Creatures Elizabeth Quay will comprise over 500 square metres of internal dining, brewing and taproom space, along with 390 square metres of alfresco space on Geoffrey Bolten Avenue overlooking the Quay.
Fremantle has been home to Little Creatures in Perth for more than 23 years on the Harbour, with this newest venture providing another fantastic waterfront opportunity.
Three Pound Group General Manager, Tim McLernon, said “We have been partners with Lion since we started back in 2013 and everyone at Three Pound Group is excited to be given the opportunity to bring the Little Creatures brand to Elizabeth Quay.
Three Pound Group have been involved at EQ since the very beginning with The Reveley and when Brookfield Properties and Cbus Property presented this new opportunity to us, we jumped at the chance to open a second venue for the group in this fantastic and growing precinct.”
John Quinn, Director of Leasing, Brookfield Properties, said, “Little Creatures is an iconic West Australian brand – so where better to locate than the heart of Perth on the Swan Riverfront.
“The steady transformation of Elizabeth Quay makes this a must visit location for locals and tourists alike,” said Mr Quinn.
Cbus Property's Chief Executive Officer, Adrian Pozzo, said it was great to see an Australian icon claim the anchor tenancy adding to the fabric of Elizabeth Quay and the wider Perth community.
"We warmly welcome Little Creatures to Nine The Esplanade at Elizabeth Quay. This partnership underscores our commitment to creating vibrant, community-focused spaces that celebrate local culture and innovation. The prime location makes Little Creatures a great fit for this dynamic precinct, enhancing the experience and sense of connection, not only for office workers utilising the co-working spaces above, but it will also ultimately become a destination venue for Perth locals and visitors too," said Mr Pozzo.
Little Creature’s flagship tenancy will be located on the ground floor of the new 19-level, ~32,500 sqm, PCA Premium Grade office building currently under construction. It will add further appeal to the existing line-up of dining experiences at Elizabeth Quay, which also includes 6 Head, Lantern on Quay, The Reveley, Oyster Bar and Hearth Restaurant & Lounge just to name a few.
Construction of Nine The Esplanade is underway and anticipated for completion in early 2025.
