Keperra’s Great Western Super Centre in Brisbane’s inner north-west, is at 98 per cent leased with two new tenancies brokered by Consolidated Properties Group and CVS Lane Capital Partners.
Consolidated Properties Group and CVS Lane Capital Partners are into the home straight with their rejuvenation of Keperra’s Great Western Super Centre in Brisbane’s inner north-west, with two new tenancies taking the new-look centre to 98 per cent leased.
The latest lease deals leave just one tenancy available at Great Western, following a $22 million refurbishment program commenced at the centre by Consolidated Properties and CVS Lane in 2022.
The new tenancies total 230sqm and include premium takeaway franchise Amalfi Pizza and locally owned and run butcher shop, Keperra Quality Meats.
Located 10km northwest of the Brisbane CBD and first opened in 2000, Great Western Super Centre has 15,400sqm of floor space, anchored by Woolworths and Aldi, alongside six mini-majors and 46 specialty stores.
Amalfi Pizza, a premium Italian-style takeaway known for its wide selection of high-quality pizzas, calzones, grilled foods and pastas, has signed a seven-year lease at Great Western for a 70sqm storefront and kitchen. It will be Amalfi’s eighth outlet in Queensland.
“We chose to open at Great Western because it’s a first-rate location with the right demographics and a growing population,” Amalfi general manager Alessandro Capponi said.
“We also really liked the look and feel of the centre, as it is beautiful and presents really nicely.”
In addition to its Keperra location, Amalfi Pizza opened its ninth Queensland shopfront at another Consolidated Properties & CVS Lane centre, Toowoomba’s Wilsonton Shopping Centre in late October, signing another seven-year lease for an 80 sqm space.
“As a purely takeaway and delivery only business, we love local communities and core to our business is immersing ourselves into the locations we open,” Mr Capponi said.
“We want locals to come in say hello and enjoy some great Italian food.
“Like we did with our Keperra store, we chose Wilsonton at Toowoomba as we like the region and the community-driven atmosphere. We’re also eager to support local sports teams and community initiatives as part of our commitment.”
Alongside Amalfi Pizza, The Great Western Shopping Centre will also be home to -new butcher shop Keperra Quality Meats, which has signed a seven-year lease for a 160sqm space.
Keperra Quality Meats owner David Whytt said: “Great Western Shopping Centre is the perfect location for our butcher shop because of the great local customer base, which allows us to connect with and serve our local community, providing high quality meats and gourmet products to all customers.”
Rob Clifton, Head of Leasing at Consolidated Properties, says Great Western Centre is currently in a growth phase and new tenants such as Amalfi Pizza and Keperra Quality Meats add enormous value while helping to create a culture that local communities can enjoy.
“We are committed to creating spaces that premium businesses can be proud to call home. Our focus is on fostering an environment where both retailers and the community thrive,” said Rob.
“These exciting new tenancies are part of a broader strategy by Consolidated Properties and CVS Lane Capital Partners to modernise the retail landscape and cater to the evolving needs of the local community.”
