Colliers announce the appointment of Scott Orchard as National Director of Office Capital Markets & Investment Services, Victoria. Scott brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held previous leadership positions at CBRE in Melbourne after initiating his commercial property career at Cushman & Wakefield in New York.
His specialisation is the sale of office buildings, as well as commercial investments and development sites in Melbourne's city fringe and metro markets, plus insolvency or receivership sales.
Scott's extensive background includes over 20 years exclusive to the commercial real estate industry, where he has developed a strong reputation for his expertise in office capital markets, and leading and developing high-performing teams across various investment services and development site sales sectors.
Additionally, he has consistently serviced insolvency and receiver practitioners over the past 20 years, including during the GFC and post-Covid periods. His strategic, team oriented approach and deep market knowledge have been instrumental in closing significant transactions and unlocking value for clients.
His recent achievements include over $100,000,000 in unconditional city fringe and metropolitan office sales within a 10 week period in Spring 2024, across 5 notable on and off-market deals despite challenged market conditions, helping to maintain his stong market share presence in the sector over the past 7 years.
