Adam Fairfax has joined Knight Frank in the role of Partner, Institutional Capital, where he will work alongside Michael Kwok, who was recently appointed as Partner, Head of Capital and Strategic Advisory in ANZ.
Knight Frank has made an appointment to its Capital and Strategic Advisory team as part of a growth strategy to meet increasing client demand.
Adam Fairfax has joined Knight Frank in the role of Partner, Institutional Capital, where he will work alongside Michael Kwok, who was recently appointed as Partner, Head of Capital and Strategic Advisory in ANZ.
Adam has 30 years’ experience in commercial real estate, primarily the A-REIT sector as equity analyst, portfolio manager, and in specialist sales including IPOs, and with equity and debt funding.
He moves to Knight Frank from JP Morgan Australian Equities, where he worked for the past 21 years.
In his new role Adam will work with institutional real estate capital partners in Australia and overseas to attract investment in commercial real estate through Knight Frank and its partners.
Knight Frank Chief Executive Officer James Patterson said the two recent appointments would grow Knight Frank’s Capital Advisory offering to meet client demand.

Mr Kwok said Knight Frank’s Capital and Strategic Advisory offering provided a point of difference in the market, particularly with Adam’s specific experience in the financial services industry.

Following a long and dedicated career focusing on listed real estate, equities and property securities funds management, Adam said he was excited about taking on a new challenge at Knight Frank.
“I wanted to return to my roots as a property valuer to leverage my institutional relationships and finance skills,” he said.
